Freshly baked bread is one of my proudest accomplishments. Thankfully, I have an AWESOME friend who let me spend close to seven hours at her house this weekend while we kneaded and waited and waited and baked. But I can now say that I have mastered bread making WITHOUT a bread machine. Yes, folks, it is possible, and easy, to make bread completely from scratch.
My sweet husband thinks wonder bread is the epitome of bread perfection. I prefer whole wheat and no high fructose corn syrup or artificial ingredients in our bread. So I needed to find a way to compromise. This bread definitely does it. With only a handful of ingredients, this bread is clean and natural and perfect! And I get three loaves at once which saves me precious time in my too busy schedule.
I wish I had taken a picture. It is deliciousness. I’ll try to post pictures next month when I make my next batch.
