Happy Easter! I had a fabulous sunny and fellowship-filled day that ended with finally seeing a documentary that’s been on my to-watch list for a while. If you get a chance, I highly recommend you get on Netflix and watch Forks Over Knives. The film reviews the studies chronicled in the book, The China Study, which I also highly recommend if you’re up for reading a technical, scientific study-filled text (I found it a quite fascinating beach read a few years ago). If you’ve ever wondered about the research and facts behind the promotion of a plant-based diet over a traditional meat and dairy based Western diet, this is a film you need to see. It is possible to prevent (and even reverse!) chronic diseases and to live longer, healthier lives through plants!
